The Tag-Z Military Chain Sets, made right here in the United States from US-made T304 Stainless Steel, are the same chains that are issued to the US military. Our sets come with one 27-inch chain and one 4.5-inch chain, with the balls on the chains measuring 2.4mm in diameter, allowing them to fit through the holes on the tags perfectly. There are approximately 8 balls per inch of chain.

To close the ball chain, simply put the ball into the connector and pull both sides of the chain away from the connector until the ball 'snaps' into place. These stainless steel ball chains are quite durable, so it may take a good tug for the ball to snap into place.
If the chain is a little too long and hangs too low on your chest, you can easily shorten it with a pair of wire cutters. Just place the blades of the wire cutters between the balls and squeeze. However, be careful not to shorten the chain too much at one time, as once you cut it, it cannot be put back.
